General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across, the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand and Laos into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rain while very heavy rain in someplaces of the North, the Central, the East and the South (West coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The strengthening wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the upper Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Nakhon Si Thammarat upward: southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Songkhla downward: southwesterly winds 15?30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C Krabi upwards: Southwesterly winds 20?35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and 2-3 meters high in thundershowers. Trang downwards: Southwesterly winds 15?35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
