During 24 ? 26 Jun, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough will lie across the North and the Northeast into the low-pressure cell over the upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast). The rather strong wind forces the wave in the Andaman Sea up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers, about 2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 27 ? 30 Jun, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will weaken while monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar and upper Loas into the low pressure cell over upper Vietnam with isolated thundershowers in the country and isolated heavy rains in someplaces. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will be weaken, 1 - 2 meters height in the Andaman and the Gulf, and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
During 24 - 27 Jun, people should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and runoff, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore during 24 -26 Jun.
