General Situation

The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Laos into the low pressure cell over the upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the country with isolated very heavy rains in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast) regions. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All transports take more caution during the phenomena. The rather strong wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters, above 3 meters in thundershowers. About 2 meters high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boat in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Tak. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 28-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Surat Thaini upward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters, above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-32 C Phang Nga upward: Southwesterly winds 20?40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. Phuket downward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
