General Situation

The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while about 1 meter high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 30-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C Phuket upward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Krabi downward : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
