General Situation

The strong monsoon trough lies across the North into an active low-pressure cell over the Northeast of Thailand while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South, the Gulf, the Central and the East. Thundershowers and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the upper Central, the East and the South(west coast) regions. People in the country should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershower. In the lower Andaman Sea, the waves have about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C. Valiable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 27-30 C. Valiable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Ang Thong, Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C. Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C Phuket upwards : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. Krabi downwards : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
