Isolated heavy rains are likely in the North, the upper Northeast and the East regions. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 2 ? 5 Aug, the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar and the upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin while the moderate southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will weakening. Thundershowers are likely in the country while isolated heavy rains remain in someplaces of the North and the Northeast. The weak wind and the wave in the Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high and the Gulf wave height are likely about 1 meter, above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore.

People in the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
