General Situation

The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershower are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South (west coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-35 C. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km/hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Suphan Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C Ranong upwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. Phangnga downwards: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
