General Situation

The moderate monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the modeate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the upper North, the upper Northeast and the East regions. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, the severe tropical storm ?Ampil? cover the south of Japan. The travellers should check weather information before start the journey.

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Phanom. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphanburi, Nakhon Pathom, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C Ranong upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phangnga downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
