General Situation

The monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Loas into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam and the Tonkin bay while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf throughout the period. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the North, the upper Northeast, Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along waterways and lowlands. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km./hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Saraburi, Samut Songkhram and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-37 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 26-28 C. Maximum temperature 35-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
