General Situation

The monsoon trough lie across the North, the Northeast and the upper Northeast of Thailand while the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. At the same time, the low-pressure cell over upper Laos will move through the upper North of Thailand and Myanmar. More rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the country and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the upper North, the upper Northeast, the East and the South (west coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The strengthening wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2?3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves have about 2 meters high while 1?2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km./hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Nakhon Ratchasima and Buriram. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Surat Thani upward: southwesterly winds 15 - 35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. Nakhon Sri Thammarat downward: southwesterly winds 15 - 30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C Phangnga upward : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
