General Situation

The monsoon trough move down to lie across the North and the Northeast of Thailand while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the country and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the upper North, the Central, the East and the South (west coast). People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2?3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the waves have about 2 meters high while 1?2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 28-34 C. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km./hr.
Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Surat Thani upward: southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. Nakhon Sri Thammarat downward: southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 28-31 C Phangnga upward : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. Phuket downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
