General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast into the low-pressure cell the South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain are likely in the country with isolated heavy rains. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, the waves have 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Northeastern

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Chaiyaphum, and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.

Central

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.

Eastern

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)

Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Surat Thani upward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Southern (West Coast)

Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C Ranong upward : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phabgbga downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Bangkok Metropolitan

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
