General Situation

The moderated monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell the South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is strengthening. More rains and heavy rains are likely in many places of the country with isolated very heavy rains are possible in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Gulf and the lower Andaman Sea, the waves have 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km./hr.

Northeastern

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.

Central

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, Saraburi, Singburi, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.

Eastern

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Southern (East Coast)

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Surat Thani upward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.

Southern (West Coast)

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 27-33 C Ranong upward : Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phabgbga downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

Bangkok Metropolitan

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
