General Situation

The rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the upper Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf is weakening while an active-low pressure cell covers upper Laos and upper Vietnam. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the Northeast, the Central and the East while isolated very heavy rains are possible in North. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The weakening wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf, the waves have 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northeastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Lopburi, Saraburi and Kanchanaburi. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Phetchaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C Ranong upward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phang Nga downward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-29 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
