General Situation

The rather strong monsoon through lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over Hainan, China while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South, the Central, the East and the Gulf. At the same time, the confluences of the southwesterly and easterly winds prevail over the lower Gulf and the lower South. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the Central, the East and the lower South while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North and the Northeast regions. People in these areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate winds and waves in the Andaman Sea: Phangnga upward are likely 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea: Phuket downward and the Gulf, the waves have about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 28-31 C. Variable winds 5-15 km./hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 27-32 C. Variable winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Lopburi, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C Phang Nga upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phuket downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
