General Situation

The rather strong monsoon through lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the Northeast of Thailand into the low-pressure cell over Hainan, China while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. At the same time, the confluences of the southwesterly and easterly winds prevail over the Gulf and the lower South. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the South. People in these areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The weak winds and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves have about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 29-31 C. Variable winds 5-15 km./hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C. Variable winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains In Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Ang Thong, Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
