During 26 ? 29 Sep, the easterly wave prevail over the lower North, the Central, the East and the Gulf. At the same time,the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the upper Andaman Sea. Isolated are possible heavy rains in the whole area. The weak winds and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 30 Sep ? 2 Oct, the high pressure from China will extend to upper Laos, upper Vietnam and the South China Sea. The southeasterly wind prevails over upper Thailand and the upper Gulf while The monsoon trough will lie across the lower North, the Central and the East. More rain and isolated heavy rain with gust wind are likely over the upper country while very heavy rain is expected in some places of Bangkok and vicinity and the East.
Caution
During 30 Sep ? 2 Oct, people in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
