General Situation

The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Vietnam. Thundershowers are likely in the country and isolated heavy rains with gust are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. People in these areas should beware of thundershowers, gust and heavy rains. The moderate winds and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high while below 1 meter high in the Gulf and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should keep off thundershower. In addition, during 30 sep ? 3 oct 67, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the eastern part of the North and the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while the monsoon trough will lie across the North, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East regions. Variable weather, thundershowers, gusty winds and isolated heavy rains are likely in the upper country and the upper South while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, after that a decrease in temperature by 1 ? 3 C with strong wind are likely in the Northeast.

Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains with gust in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km./hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains with gust in Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 35-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km./hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains with gust in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Phuket upward : southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meter high in thundershowers. Krabi downward : southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km./hr.
