During 1 ? 3 Oct, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the North, the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while the monsoon trough will lie across the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East regions. At the same time, the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Variable weather, thundershowers, gusty winds and isolated heavy rains are likely in the upper country while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the Central tincluding Bangkok and its vinicity and the East regions. After that, during 4 ? 6 Oct, the moderate high pressure system will extend to the North and the Northeast leads to decreasing temperature and strong wind with a decrease in temperature by 1 ? 3 C in the North and 2 ? 4 C in the Northeast. The easterly wind will prevail over the Gulf, the East, the lower Central and the South with thundershower and isolated heavy rain. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, typhoon ?KRATHON? over northeastern part of Philippines is expected to move through Taiwan, China during 2 ? 3 Oct.
