During 4 ? 5 Oct, the moderate high-pressure system from China covers to upper Thailand and the South China Sea leads to the monsoon trough move down to lie across the upper South and the upper Gulf while the easterly wind will prevail over the lower Gulf, the lower South and the Andaman Sea. During 6 ? 9 Oct, another high-pressure system from China will extend to Northeast. Less rains and a decrease in temperature are likely in the upper country while isolated heavy rains are possible in the South regions. A decrease in temperature by 2 ? 4 C with strong wind are likely in the Northeast and a decrease in temperature 1 ? 3 C are likely in the North and the upper Central regions. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period. In addition, the typhoon ?KRATHON? over the upper South China Sea is expected to move through Taiwan, China during 4 ? 5 Oct.
