During 8 ? 14 Oct, the high-pressure system from China covering upper Thailand will weaken leading to the easterly wind bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East, while the monsoon trough will move up to lie across the lower Central, the East and the upper South. At the same time, the weak southwest monsoon will prevail over the Andaman Sea, the lower South and the lower Gulf. More rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are likely below 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.
Caution
People in the North and the Northeast should keep healthy due to changeable weather and people in the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
