During 17 ? 18 Oct, the monsoon trough move up to lie across the upper South, the upper Gulf and the East while the low-pressure cell over Cambodia will move through the East, the upper South and the upper Andaman Sea while the easterly wind prevails over the lower Northeast and the Central. Isoalated heavy rains are likely in the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok Metropolits and the South (west coast) while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South (east coast). The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high while the waves in the Gulf are likely below 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 19 ? 23 Oct, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper North, the upper Northeast and the South China Sea lead to the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to upper Thailand. More rains with gusty wind and heavy rain are likely in the upper country for the first period then less rains while continuous rainfalls are likely in the South. Isolated very heavy rains are forecast to the East and the South (east coast). The strengthening wind force the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 1 ? 2 meters high while the waves in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
