General Situation

The monsoon trough moves up to lie across the upper South and the East into the low pressure cell over the lower coast of Vietnam while the easterly wind and the southeasterly wind bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast and the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East. Isolated heavy rains in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The winds and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter while the wave below 1 meter in the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 19 ? 21 Oct, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper North, the upper Northeast and the South China Sea lead the easterly and southeasterly winds with moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to upper Thailand. The monsoon trough will lie across the middle south. More rains with gusty wind and heavy rain are likely in the country.

Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Lopburi, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Variable winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C. Variable winds 10-30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Variable winds 10-30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi and Trang. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Variable winds 10-20 km./hr.
