General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the upper South, the East and the upper gulf. At the same time, the high-pressure system from China covers the upper north and the upper Northeast. This leads easterly and the southeasterly winds with moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the Central, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands and keep healthy due to the changeable weather. The moderate winds force the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 1-2 meters high while the wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-35 C. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Phuket upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Krabi downwards : Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
