General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the lower Central, upper South and the East with the easterly and the southeasterly winds brings moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower North and the lower Northeast. Isolated heavy rains is likely in the lower North, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the upper South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands and keep healthy due to the changeable weather. The moderate winds force the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 1-2 meters high while the wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Tropical depression over the Philippines is intensified to tropical storm ?TRAMI?, expected to move into the upper South China Sea during 23 ? 24 October 2024.

Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Phang Nga upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phuket downwards : Northwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-34 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
