General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system covers the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand while the easterly wind prevailing over the upper country becomes weaker. Less rains and isolated thundershowers are likely in the country. Cool in the morning with strong winds are forecast in the Northeast and the upper North. People in the areas beware thundershowers and should keep healthy due to the changeable weather. The monsoon trough lies across the upper South with thudershowers in the South. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high while the wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, the severe tropical storm ?TRAMI? over upper Philippines will move to the upper South China Sea by today (24October 2024). It is expected to move near Hainan, China and middle Vietnam during 26?28 October 2024. The traveler please check for weather update before travel.

Eastern

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 22-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-34 ?C. Variable winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Minimum temperature 24-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 31-33 ?C. Phang Nga upwards : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. Phuket downwards : Northwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
