Thailand Daily Weather Forecast
General Situation
11 November 2024
The high-pressure system from China still covers the North, the Northeast and the South China Sea with morning cool in the area. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changeable weather. The monsoon trough lies across the lower South and Malaysia while the northeast monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf and the upper South with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially in the foothills near the waterways and the lowland areas. The moderate wind and waves in the Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high while the waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, the typhoon ?YINXING? over the upper South China Sea was downgraded to severe tropical storm. At 4.00 a.m., it is forecast to move near Hainan, China and the coast of middle Vietnam during 11-12 Nov. This storm will not move to Thailand, expected to downgrade to tropical depression and the active low pressure cell respectively. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting.
