During 15 - 16 Nov, the high-pressure system covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with morning cool in the upper North and the upper Northeast. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the upper South with rains/thundershowers in these areas. The weakening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. The weak wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely below 1 meter high and above 2 meter high in thundershowers. During 17 ? 21 Nov, the another high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea with thundershowers in the upper country for the first period then morning cool with strong winds and a decrease in temperature by 2 ? 4 C in the Northeast. While the North, the Central and the East a decrease in temperature 1 ? 3 C. The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf and the upper South with more rains and isolated heavy rains. The strengthening wind force the waves in the Gulf up to 1 ? 2 meters high while about 1 meter high in the Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundeshowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather, all transport take more caution in poor visibility and farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. All ships should keep off thundershowers throughout the period. During 20 ? 21 Nov, people in the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
