Weather Outlook During 21 - 27 Nov 2024
During 21 - 23 Nov, the moderate high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea causing morning cool with strong winds and a decrease in temperature by 1 - 2 C in the North while slightly drop in temperature are likely in the Northeast region. During 24 - 26 Nov, the high-pressure system covering upper Thailand is weakening with an increase temperature by 1 - 2 C while morning cool and fog in the upper country. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country and the upper South with isolated rains. On 27 Nov, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature by 1 - 2 C in the Northeast and strong wind. The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with more rains and isolated heavy to very heavy rains during 21 - 23 Nov. The moderate wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have about 1 meter high, 1 - 2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
During 21 - 23 Nov, people in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area throughout the period. During 25 - 26 Nov, people in the upper country should keep healthy due to changeable weather, all transport take more caution in poor visibility and farmers should prepare for crop?s damage.
