General Situation

The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South is weakening while the low-pressure cell over Malacca Strait will move to Sumatra island resulting less rain with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. People in the lower south should beware of heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should keep off thundershowers. The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand with morning fog in the areas. Cool in the morning is likely in the upper country in the North and the Northeast regions. On mountaintops of the North and the Northeast, cool to cold is forecast. The minimum temperature of the North mountaintops is in range of 10-16C while the Northeast ranges by 12-17C. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of fire due to dry air. All transport take more caution in poor visibility.

Eastern
Morning light fog. Slightly rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height below 1 meter and about 1 meter offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-34 C. Nakhon Si Thammarat upward : Northeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters high in thundershowers. Songkhla downward : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Morning light fog. Slightly rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-15 km./hr.
