General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system from China which cover the upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with morning cool and fog including increasing temperature by 1-3 C. Cool to cold on the mountaintops of the North and the Northeast. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changable weather and be caution due to poor visibility. The moderated northeast monsoon prevailing over the lower Gulf and the lower South is weakening with less rains in the lower South. The moderate to rather strong wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area. In addition, during 12 ? 16 Dec, the another rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea with decreasing in temperature and windy. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon which prevail over the Gulf and the South will strengthen. The low pressure cell will move pass the gulf and the South during 13 ? 15 Dec. Heavy to very heavy rains will be present in the South.

Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-34 C. Nakhon Si Thammarat upward : Northeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters high in thundershowers. Songkhla downward : Northeasterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-32 C. Easterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height below 1 meter, above 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Partly cloudy. Morning fog with 1-2 C rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
