During 12 - 17 Dec, the another rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea with isolated rains for the first period before a decrease in temperature and morning cool to cold with strong wind. A decrease in temperature by 4 - 8 C is forecast for the Northeast while a decrease in temperature by 2 - 5 C is forecast for the rest regions except the lower South. The rather strong northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South while the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will move pass the lower Gulf and the lower South during 13 ? 15 Dec. More rains and scattered heavy rains to isolated very heavy rains are likely in the South.
