Weather Outlook During 19 - 25 Dec 2024
During 19 - 23 Dec, the another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea. Cool to cold weather still remains in the upper country with a decreasing in temperature by 2 - 4 C in the Northeast and 1 - 3 C in another regions, and strong wind. During 24 - 25 Dec, the high-pressure system which cover the upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea will weaken. Temperature will rise with morning fog but cool to cold weather still be in the upper Thailand. The moderate to rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the lower Gulf and the lower South throughout the period with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The moderate wind and waves in the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the upper country should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air throughout the period.
