During 2 and 7 ? 8 Jan, the moderate high-pressure system cover upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea. Cool to cold weather continues in the North and the Northeast of Thailand while morning cool in the other regions. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The moderate winds and waves in the Gulf are likely 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershower. During 3 - 6 Jan, another rather moderate high-pressure system from China extend to upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature and strong winds in a whole regions. A decrease in temperature by 2 ? 4 C is likely in the North and the Northeast while a decrease in temperature by 1 ? 3 C is likely in the rest regions except the lower South. The moderate northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South will strengthen with more rains and isolated heavy rain in the lower South. The strengthening wind force the waves in the Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have 1 - 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore.
