General Situation

The another rather strong high-pressure system from China covers the upper Vietnam and Laos. It will cover the upper Northeast by tonight (15 Jan 2025). Temperature will decrease by 1-2 C with windy in the Northeast while still be cool to cold with light fog in the another regions. Very cold on the mountaintop. People in the upper country should be careful of their health due to cold weather and beware of fire due to dry air, all transport take more caution in poor visibility. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South, and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the lower South. The winds and waves in the Gulf are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters in thundershower areas. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are 1-2 meters high, about 2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area. Small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.

Eastern
Cool to cold with morning light fog. 1-2 C rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 15-21 C. Maximum temperature 31-32 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Morning cool with morning light fog in the upper part. Scattered thundershower and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 18-25 C. Maximum temperature 28-31 C. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trung and Satun. Minimum temperature 20-23 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Cool with morning light fog. 1-2 C rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 19-21 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
