General Situation

Cool to cold weather are in the upper country with decreasing in temperature by 1-2 C. People in the area should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to dry air and strong wind. Because of the another rather strong high-pressure system from China extends to the upper country. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will strengthening with isolated thundershowers in the South. The strengthening wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2?3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the wave about 2 meters while in the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. People in the South (east coast) should beware of heavy rains and inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore until 28 January 2025.

Central
Morning cool with windy and 1-2 C drop in temperature. Minimum temperature 18-21 C. Maximum temperature 28-32 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km./hr.
Eastern
Morning cool with windy and 1-2 C drop in temperature. Minimum temperature 19-22 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Morning cool in the upper part. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chumphon Suratthani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 21-24 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Surat Thani upward : Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : Northeasterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, above 2 meters offshore and in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Morning cool with windy and slightly drop in temperature. Minimum temperature 19-21 C. Maximum temperature 30-32 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km./hr.
