During 6 ? 7 Feb and 11 ? 12 Feb, the high-pressure system covering the North, the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with an increase in temperature by 1 ? 3 C, morning fog and thick patches in some place. Cool to cold is likely in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is likely in the rest regions. the weakening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated light rains in the South. The weakening wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 1 - 2 meters high. In the upper Gulf and the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high offshore. During 8 ? 10, the another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature by 3 ? 5 C and strong wind in the Northeast while a decrease in temperature by 2 ? 4 C in the rest regions except for the lower South. The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South (East Coast). The strengthening wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf anout 2 meters, above 2 meters in the thundershowers and the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely about 1 meter high, 1 ? 2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 6 - 7 Feb and 11 ? 12 Feb, All transports take more caution in poor visibility. During 8 - 10 Feb, people in upper Thailand and the upper South should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to dry air and strong wind. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.
