General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system from China extends to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds bringing moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and East regions while hot occurs in the country. Isolated thundershowers, gusty wind and lightning strike in someplaces are likely in the upper country then a decrease in temperature by 1-2 C is likely in the Northeast. Cool to cold remains in the North while cool in the morning is likely in the Northeast and the Central. People in the upper country should stay healthy due to the changeable weather and beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should take precautions to protect crops and animals from potential damage. The strengthening northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with more rains in the South. The strengthening winds force the waves in the lower Gulf are expected to be 1-2 meters high, about 1 meter high in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Northeastern
Morning cool and 1-2 C drop in temperature. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, and Surin. Minimum temperature 18-23 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Cool to cold on the mountaintops: Minimum temperature 12-16 C. Easterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Morning cool and hot during day. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Lopburi, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphanburi, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, and Samut Sakhon Minimum temperature 19-24 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southeasterly winds 10-15 km./hr.
Eastern
Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter, about 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-35 C. Surat Thani upwards : Southeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Easterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Krabi. Minimum temperature 22-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Northeasterly winds 10-30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter, about 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers with gust. Minimum temperature 24-27 C. Maximum temperature 32-36 C. Southerly winds 10-15 km././hr.
