General Situation

The heat low pressure cell covers over the upper Thailand with hot to very hot during the day. Meanwhile the southerly and southwesterly winds prevail over upper Thailand with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather and beware of severe conditions with gusty winds. The southwesterly and southeasterly wind prevails over the gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy rains. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should keep off thundershowers. In Addition, during 26?29 Apr, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to cover Vietnam and the South China Sea. There will be confluence of southeasterly and southwesterly winds prevail over the upper country while there are hot to very hot weather. Outbreaks of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind, hail including lightning strike and heavy rains in some areas.

Central
Day hot and very hot in some places. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Lopburi, Saraburi, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Minimum temperature 25-28 C. Maximum temperature 37-40 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-29 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southerly winds 10-30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-36 C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-29 C. Maximum temperature 35-39 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
