"Heavy Rainfalls and Strong Wind-waves "

The strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand causes torrential rain and isolated heavy to very rain likely in the whole country. People in the risky areas along foothills near waterway and in lowlands should beware of flooding conditions during a few days. This condition is in effect for provinces of Nong Khai, Nakhon Phanom, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Besides, strong wind-waves are likely in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore during 13-16 July, 2009.
As depression “Soudelor” has reached Vietnam and downgrade to low pressure area.
