General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time A low pressure cell covers the Gulf of Tonkin and Vietnam. The southwest monsoon which prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is intensifying. These cause increasing rainfalls over the country and isolated heavy rain. People especially in the north and the Northeast should beware of flooding conditions during the couple days. While strong wind-wave in the Andaman sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely and shipping should proceed with caution during the period.
