General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather active low pressure trough lies across northern and northeastern Thailand and the southwest monsoon which prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. These cause abundance rainfall in the North and Northeast. Besides, the strong wind-waves are still likely in the Andaman sea. All ships should proceed with caution.

People are advised to check weather before their departure for Japan, cause tropical storm “Etau” near the area.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan,

Phrea, and Tak,

Southwesterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers in Nong Khai, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon,Nongbua Lumphu, and Khon Khen.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in

Uthai Thani and Kanchanaburi.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers in Nakhon Nayok,

Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mainly in Phetchaburi,

Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.
