General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time A nearly active trough of low pressure remains across lower northern, upper central and northeastern Thailand. The southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is strong. Torrential rain and isolated heavy rainfall are expected all over the country. People living along foothills near waterways and in lowlands are aware of flooding conditions during this period. The risky areas include provinces of Chiang Rai, Chaing Mai, Nan, Phrae, Phetchabun, Udon Thani Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon and Ubon Ratchathani. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution during 1-2 days.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai,

Chaing Mai, Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Khampangphet, Pichit and Phetchabun. Easterly winds 10-25 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Udon Thani, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Si Saket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Variable winds 10-30 km/hr.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan,

Uthai Thani, Lop Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi. Variable winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok,

Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height 2 meters.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phetchaburi,

Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon.
