The strong northeast monsoon still prevails over Thailand, the Gulf and the Andaman Sea. Abundant rains and isolated heavy rains are likely in the South from Phatthalung southward. People in the risky areas along foothills near waterways and in lowlands should beware of flooding condition during this period. The severe weather alerts for provinces of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Trang, Satun, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Strong wind-wave in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore a few days.

The intense high pressure system remains cover upper Thailand. This causes cool weather during this period.
