Subject: Cool to Cold weather, heavy rain in the South and strong wind-wave

An intense high pressure system from China has covered the upper Thailand causing 4-6C drops with windy becoming cooler weather.
The intense northeast monsoon prevails over the South and Gulf of Thailand. Torrential rain and down pour are expected in the South as well as flash flood condition may be occurred from Chumphon southward and strong wind-wave in the Gulf. People who live along the South (east coast) should beware of high wave. Shipping in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 18-22 Nov 2009.
