Subject: Cold weather, heavy rain in the South and strong wind-wave

The intense northeast monsoon across the Gulf of Thailand and southern Thailand leads to more rain and torrential rain much of the South. Flash flood may be possible in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Trang, Satun, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat while the strong wind-wave in the Gulf is likely with 2-4 meters high. People living along the South eastern coast should beware of high wave. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 19-22 November 2009.
