The high pressure system which covered the upper Thailand is weakening. It is rising in temperature but remains cool weather in those areas.
The northeast monsoon which dominated over the Gulf of Thailand and southern Thailand is beginning weak but torrential rains are still likely in the lower South (east coast) from Nakhon Si Thammarat province downward. Flash flood may occur in the risky areas along foothills near waterways and in lowlands. This condition alerts for southern provinces of Phatthalung, Songkhla, Trang, Satun, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat provinces. Wind-wave in the Gulf is likely with 2-3 meters. People along eastern south-coast should beware of monsoon surge. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats mainly in the lower Gulf keep ashore till 26 November 2009.
While an active low pressure cell covers the lower Gulf of Thailand near Borneo Island, Malaysia. It trends moving to the tip of Indo-china peninsular.
