General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate high pressure system remains over upper Thailand. Cool to cold weather with mist is likely in the area.
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf and southern Thailand and the low pressure cell covers the shoreline of Malaysia. Abundant rainfalls and isolated heavy rain are expected in middle southern Thailand southward. Flash flood may be possible in the risky areas along foothills or in lowlands near waterways. This condition is in effect for provinces of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. From Surat Thani downward, wind-wave will be likely about 2 meters. All ships should proceed with caution this period.
