Weather Forecast During 13-17 Jan, an intense high pressure system from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand. Cooler weather, 4-6 oC drops. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South has strength. Increasing in rainfalls are likely in the South and wind wave in the Gulf will strength. While during 17-19 Jan, the low pressure in the lower South China Sea will move near upper Malaysia. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely in the lower South.
During 18-19 Jan, the high pressure system cover upper Thailand will weaken. Increasing in fog in the areas.
Warning During this periods, all ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boat in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward should keep ashore. During 17-19 Jan, people in the lower South should beware of flooding condition.
Northern Part During 13-17 Jan, 4-6 oC drops and morning fog. The upper portion: cold, minimum temperature 11-15 oC. The lower portion: cool, minimum temperature 16-20 oC.
