"Heavy rain, Gust and Strong Wind-Wave"

At 4.00 am. today, the tropical depression in the South China Sea was centered about 100 kilometers southeast of the tip of Indochina or Lat 9.8 oN, Long 107.7 oE with sustained winds of 50 km/hr. It is moving northwestward at a speed of 15 km/hr and will make landfall over the tip of Indochina today morning. Increasing in thundershowers are likely over the country and isolated heavy falls in the lower Northeast and the East. Wind-wave in the Gulf becomes strong with wave height 2-3 meters. All ships should proceed with caution during 20-23 January, 2010. During 20-22 January, 2010 the westerly trough will move across northern Thailand causing thundershowers with gust in northern and upper northeastern Thailand at the first period and then 2-4 C drops.
